Our goals

To enact this mission, DLI is leveraging technology to enhance teaching and learning for NYCPS. There are four key areas where DLI will focus our efforts for highest impact:

Professional Learning to Build Capacity Amongst Educators and School Leaders: CConnect school communities and leaders to high quality professional learning that focus on integrating 21st century learning design. As a result, students will have access to digital learning experiences that are student-centered, career-connected, rigorous, and culturally responsive.

Expand Flexible Learning Environments for Students: Provide students with greater choice and agency in how they engage in their learning by expanding models of flexible learning environments across NYC Public Schools. 

Foster Innovation and Elevate Best Practices System Wide:  Share instructional methods, resources and emergent tools that embed technology and integrate digital learning experiences across all NYC Public Schools.
